Origin

Named after the heart of Borneo: the Kalimantan jungles, where rattan grows most vigorously in the world. In this version, the fiber is cured until it reaches the tone of toasted earth — the contained intensity of the tropics.

Material

Natural Indonesian rattan body in dark brown finish. A plant fiber selected for its flexibility and natural resistance, whose deep tone enhances the relief of each weave intersection.

Design and texture

Patiently molded using traditional hand-weaving techniques. Its three-dimensional relief of crossed threads functions as an optical filter: it intercepts the interior light and projects it in a distinct pattern of openwork shadows, more dramatic than in light tones, because the contrast between dark fiber and warm light intensifies each line.
