The essence of Alba

Origin

Each piece is born in a small family workshop in Bali, Indonesia. The structure utilizes the natural curvature of the coconut palm leaf, selected and shaped by heat to achieve its characteristic organic twist. A tribute to artisanal design where the raw material dictates the final form.

Material

Carefully selected and treated coconut palm leaf to preserve its flexibility and strength, retaining its pure clear and natural tones. The central sphere is composed of hand-tensioned cotton threads, creating an organic diffuser that gently filters the light.
Support base with subtle wooden feet.

Design and texture

The protagonist is a single leaf that curves in an enveloping and symmetrical way, embracing the luminous sphere in a gesture of balance and protection. Its visible veins, characteristic of natural fiber, the subtle marks of heat in the shaping, and the softness of the cotton create a dialogue between two completely different materials that complement each other perfectly.

Tonalities

At rest, the leaf reveals clear, straw, and sandy nuances typical of coconut fiber, highlighting its natural veins and organic beauty. Its natural finish provides freshness and visual lightness, making it a sculptural piece even when turned off. When lit, honoring its name Alba (dawn), the cotton sphere radiates a soft warmth in cream tones that bathes the inside of the leaf, intensifying its textures and evoking the first light of dawn.
