Alun belongs to the latter category. Handcrafted with authentic overlapping seashells, its silhouette evokes the cadence of the alun: that soft and subtle swell whose small waves caress the shore in a continuous whisper.

Origin
Handmade on the island of Bali, Indonesia, by artisans specialized in the delicate transformation of natural marine materials.

Material
Small, rounded seashells, meticulously selected for their volume and mother-of-pearl to recreate the blanket of the seashore.

Design and texture
Its layered relief generates a sculptural and fluid texture that imitates the rhythmic and slow movement of calm water.

Tone
An ethereal harmony of pure ivory tones, linen white and pearlescent flashes that reflect light with the same cleanliness as sea foam.

Atmosphere
Due to the curved volume of its shells, light is filtered creating subtle micro-shadows on its surface, projecting an enveloping glow that invites stillness and to stop time.

MATERIALS AND CARE

Materials:

Outer diffuser: Small natural rounded seashells, meticulously selected and superimposed on a structural fiberglass base.
Base: Worked natural wood.
Internal structure: Fiberglass, technical support and insulated electrical connections.

Care and maintenance:

Remove accumulated dust with a completely dry microfiber cloth. Avoid the use of chemical cleaning products, abrasives or solvents.
