The essence of Halo

Origin

A contemporary proposal inspired by celestial optical phenomena and the expansive waves of nature. Its circular relief provides a magnetic and sculptural presence, making it a focal point that draws attention on consoles, shelves, or bedside tables.

Material

Translucent polymeric body of plant origin (cornstarch PLA), chosen for its high capacity to diffuse light, mounted on a circular base of treated natural wood.

Design and relief

Modeled using 3D printing, its surface features a fluid three-dimensional texture where vertical lines sink and curve to form concentric rings in the center. This texture acts as a physical deflector that subtly fragments the light, simulating the effect of a constantly expanding luminous halo.

Shade

A minimalist ivory white tone when off, maintaining a clean appearance that highlights the depth of its sculpted grooves. When switched on, the varying thickness of the waves filters the light from the internal LED diodes with different intensities, projecting a warm and golden concentric glow that is very visually comfortable.

Atmosphere

Through its three adjustable intensity levels, it distributes luminosity evenly in its surroundings. By softening contrasts and modulating shadows through its relief, it induces a state of relaxation and introspection, ideal for rest or meditation spaces.

Due to its elongated shape and compact base, it easily adapts to bedside tables, work desks, or wherever a focused ambient lighting point is needed to optimize available space.
