The Essence of Órbita

Origin

Each piece is born in a small family workshop in Bali, Indonesia. The structure takes advantage of the natural fall of the coconut palm leaf, selected and molded by heat to achieve its characteristic organic twist. A tribute to artisanal design where the raw material dictates the final form.

Material

Carefully selected and treated coconut palm leaf to preserve its flexibility and resistance, retaining the natural tones of the coconut fiber and its material variations. The central sphere is composed of handcrafted tensioned cotton threads, creating an organic diffuser that gently filters light. Support base with subtle wooden feet.

Design and texture

The protagonist is a single handcrafted coconut leaf molded to describe a continuous curve around the luminous sphere, creating a circular silhouette of great visual balance. Its organic path resembles a suspended orbit, while the visible veins of the fiber, the subtle marks of heat in the molding, and the softness of the cotton create a dialogue between two completely different materials that complement each other perfectly.

Color

At rest, the leaf reveals the natural tones of the coconut fiber, with straw, sand, and organic variations unique to each piece. When lit, the cotton sphere diffuses a warm, soft light that reflects on the inner surface of the leaf, highlighting its curvature and creating a delicate contrast between the plant texture and the central glow.

Its lighting is soft, enveloping, and glare-free. The cotton sphere diffuses a warm light framed by the natural curve of the leaf, creating a balanced play between matter and luminosity.
